Ode Winery is the name of the newest wine producer in the Cartaxo municipality. Alongside the vineyard and winery, they have added the Cellar Door restaurant, initially inspired by Japanese taverns but now offering a broader menu that takes diners on a journey through Asian cuisine, featuring various products sourced from their own garden. Accommodation is the next step. The imposing building located in the heart of Vila Chã de Ourique, now owned by the Australian duo David Clarkin and Andrew Homam, who have fallen in love with Portugal. In honor of a past connected to the visionary man Rogério Ribeiro, the former owner of these lands, and in tribute to native grape varieties which they aim to prioritize, the investors reached a consensus to name the project Ode Winery.
