Minimal Intervention,
Maximum Attention™

A winery established in 1902 and reborn in 2021, forty-five minutes from Lisbon. Seven grape varieties, one winemaker's obsession, and a table fed by our own farm.

An Ode To

The vines, the land, and the people at the table.

We pick when the fruit says so, intervene as little as possible, and pay careful attention to everything else. Ode is a winery, a farm, and a restaurant which all come together in the glass — and in the long lunches that follow.

The Winery

Behind an unassuming façade, a cathedral of barrels.

First built in 1902, our winery has made wine for over a century. Since 2021 — rejuvenated, restored, re-equipped, and run with a philosophy of 'Minimal Intervention, Maximum Attention' that puts the vineyard first, guided gently by the winemaker's intuition and attention to detail.

Capacity for a million bottles. The patience to make far fewer, properly.

The Wines

Seven varieties. Limestone soils. A true sense of place.

From local Arinto, Fernão Pires and Touriga Nacional to Semillon, Viognier and Alicante Bouschet, our wines are elegant, fruit-forward, and honest about where they come from.

Multiple gold medals at Berliner Wine Trophy, Mundus Vini, the Portugal Wine Trophy and Vinum Best of Portugal. Regularly rated highly by the world's most respected wine critics.

AMAIA Valley

The valley around our winery is becoming something rare.

Ode sits at the heart of AMAIA Valley — a 96-hectare estate of vineyards, cork forests and open fields, now taking shape around a five-star hotel and a limited collection of 35 private residences. Same land. Same philosophy. A bigger table.
